Stardust & Satisfaction: Art & Music
– on view until September 10, 2019
Glenn Dallas Gallery celebrates music, musicians & festival culture with our fifth exhibition titled Stardust & Satisfaction, Art & Music. The showcase aims to merge the powerful connection between musical and visual artistic talents. Works from regional, national and international are on view alongside selections from the gallery’s personal collection.
The title of the exhibition pays homage to Ziggy Stardust and the popular Rolling Stones tune, Satisfaction (I can’t get no). The show guides visitors through diverse musical genres with heavy emphasis on pop art and modern icons such as Prince, Lana del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Stevie Nicks, and many more.
